Health Guarantee
All English Bulldog puppies purchased through our website come with a minimum 1-year health guarantee provided by the breeder. If you have questions about what is covered, please refer to the laws applicable in your state.
Within ten days of purchasing your new English Bulldog puppy, you must take them to a licensed veterinarian for a complete health examination. If, within those ten days, a veterinarian determines that your puppy is clinically ill, or has died due to an illness or injury likely contracted on or before the date of sale, you have the following options:
- Return the puppy for a full refund
- Exchange the puppy for another of equal value
- Keep the puppy and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary expenses (not to exceed the purchase price)
These options do not apply if the seller has disclosed a known health issue in writing, along with a valid health certificate issued by a veterinarian at the time of sale.
If, within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian diagnoses your English Bulldog with a congenital or hereditary defect that affects the dog’s health—or if the puppy dies from such a defect—you are entitled to the same options as listed above.
Please notify the seller within two business days of the diagnosis and provide the name, address, and phone number of the veterinarian. Failure to notify within this time frame may result in forfeiture of your rights under this guarantee.
Note that English Bulldogs, like all pure breeds, have specific health sensitivities, including respiratory and joint issues. We prioritize selective, responsible breeding to minimize these risks—but we still recommend that buyers familiarize themselves with common bulldog-related conditions before purchase.
Each state has unique puppy sale laws. In states without mandatory guarantees, breeders advertising through our site must cover the puppy's health for at least 30 days. In states with longer requirements, state law will apply.
Extended Genetic Health Guarantees (when offered)
Some breeders may offer extended guarantees covering genetic conditions common to English Bulldogs. This may include coverage for issues such as hip dysplasia, cherry eye, or elongated soft palate, provided these are confirmed through veterinary diagnosis and documentation.
These guarantees do not cover routine care costs or injuries due to neglect or accidents. Veterinary proof is required before any compensation is considered.
